IPL 2009 had seen it all – Hattricks, Cameos, Upsets & if there was anything to miss it was completed today. The Grand Finale scheduled at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg promised a good game since it was going to be fought between teams who finished on the bottom of table last year. At last, it was were the Deccan Chargers who stole the show. The underdogs, the champions – Deccan Chargers lift the IPL 2009 Trophy.

The second semifinal of the DLF IPL 2009 played today at Wanderers Park, Johannesburg expected a good battle as Chennai Super Kings took on the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the end, Chennai Super Kings were cleverly outwitted by Royal Challengers Bangalore with 6 wickets in hand & 7 balls to spare. With this win, Royal Challengers Bangalore enter the finals of the DLF IPL 2009 & will battle with the Deccan Chargers tomorrow for the precious DLF IPL 2009 Trophy.

After entertaining us for close to three weeks, the DLF IPL 2009 entered into Semi-final stage today. The first semi-final between Deccan Chargers & Delhi Daredevils finished a while ago at the SuperSport Park, Centurion & Deccan Chargers have comfortably emerged victorious. Deccan Chargers won the match comfortably by 6 wickets & 14 balls to spare by which they enter the grand finale of DLP IPL 2009.

We (Ankit, Gautam, Rhitwick, Vishal & me) had developed into more than casual friends after our last Digit Mumbai Meet which was a grand success. A couple of days ago, Rhitwick contacted me & asked whether I was ready for a trip to Lamington road (Rhitwick had to shop some peripherals) . I replied in affirmative since I was free due to my ongoing vacations. We(Rhitwick & me) then asked the other guys from our earlier meet & thus it was decided that the whole group would come together again for what could be called as an “Unofficial Digit Mumbai Meet”.
