Photography has always been known to excite me. Each time I click, I try to make the subject beautiful with the photography skills which I have gained till now. Ever since I bought my first digital camera – Canon Powershot SX100 IS last year I have been following photography as a serious passion. Earlier I used to shoot with film roll camera which didn’t give me any liberties to go on a shooting spree. The one year has been a tough journey as I had been learning the various aspect of photography on my own without any guide. Further I got very little or no company as none of my friend had interest in photography. Still I hunged on to improve my photography.

It has been a while since I had decided to dedicate myself to Photography. Till now all photography was done by me alone & at times I wish if there was someone with whom I can share my passion with. To start I searched around and found a couple of groups but both were infested by not so young folks. It’s not like I could not connect with senior folks but I did not wanted to join them. I wanted to build a youth group with people in not over 30. Though it is not a requirement as anybody elder than 30 can join but what I wanted was a group with lot of youngsters. A youngistan if we go by the tagline of Pepsi Co.

Online meets are organized very often in different places around the world all the time. Such meets helps in cementing & strengthening the rapport which exists between members of a forum/community. Such meets also help in making new friends who share similar passions like yours. It had been a long time since anybody on our ThinkDigit forum arranged a Mumbai meet. Last week itself a guy opened a thread regarding the same and the rest is history.
To start with we managed to grab only 6 members for the meet due to the exam season. We thought it won’t be fun with so less people but that didn’t deter us from taking the meet. Finally we scheduled to take the meet at Dadar on Sunday i.e. 14 December.
